Very great hotel, with great rooms, gym and sauna. Located close to the city forest and with a walking distance from sachshausen. Not the most convenient location for the stadium nor city centre.

No Laundry Facilities
Common areas are outdated and worn looking but rooms are quite comfortable and clean. My one complaint is that they list “laundry facilities” as one of their amenities. To me this means I can do my own laundry in machines on site. However, what they actually have is laundry services where you send laundry out to be done and it’s quite expensive.

The upgrade was excellent. It's a classic hotel. The breakfast is typical for Germany - overpriced and underwhelming but certainly on par. The staff were delightful. The bar is excellent. It has a charm reminiscent of the 80s but they have embraced something modern. Its a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed at this property twice during our trip and both times the staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly, especially since we were travelling with a young baby. The rooms were big and spacious for us to set up a crib and sleep comfortably. The restaurant on the second floor had a very good dinner and then the morning it had a great breakfast buffet option. The staff at the hotel was even kind enough to give our daughter a little teddy bear as a gift which she loves.
