However, it is really far from chiang mai old city and finding transportation late in night is a challenge . Also, the hotel has very limited shuttle options ( only 3 times in a day ) to take you to old city . "

My only feedback would be that the promotions sheet in room didn't quite align with the spa. Spa was amazing, my therapist had magical hands, but didn't quite get the promo applied. Even so, still had an amazing experience.
