A hidden gem
Warm welcome. I was allocated a double room with seaview which was very clean and comfortable. It had a good sized television which I appreciated. Also complimentary homemade cake which I enjoyed with my first cuppa. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Would rebook.

Relaxed, welcoming hotel in beautiful location
We loved the unpretentious, relaxed feel of this hotel. Lovely manager and staff who went out of their way for us. And it's in a wonderful spot, with beautiful sea and countryside views and a short walk to the beach.

Would reccomend for a weekend away.
A really nice stay, beautiful location with great sea views. The breakfast was great with a nice selection, i had milk poached haddock and my partner smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, both cooked perfectly. Plenty of free parking on site, rooms and bathrooms were clean and nice enough. Really friendly staff and a decent bar too.

Beautiful setting. Road very narrow to hotel and beach ( not hotels fault obviously) but hard to navigate by car or a bit precarious for walking!..receptionists very helpful. Room not entirely clean ( sink very dirty) and no tea bags.. bathroom fixtures wobbly ,but overall tastefully decorated, comfortable and lovely complimentary extras. Breakfast perfect . Good service.

Lovely country hotel
We had a lovely time in the Eype Mouth Country Hotel. We upgraded to a sea view room, which was really nice and comfy. The bar meals and the breakfast were nice and tasty and very filling. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and a big thumbs up goes especially to Abbie. We even had nice, yummy cake waiting for us in our room. Thanks Abbie and team, from Rob and Sue, room number 6.

Lovely stay
Had a lovely stay! Got off to a not so good start tho as soon as we arrived the reception was very pushy trying to get us to commit to eating in the restaurant and choosing a meal and giving a time! We had just had a 5hour drive and just wanted to relax! Ended up having an excellent meal in the bar area no hassle. From then on the Service was spot on and couldn’t be faulted. The road to the hotel is an experience in itself it’s literally a car width with few passing places for around a mile! At the end it was a lovely remote location with lovely views.

Location, location, location
Excellent location, minutes from the sea and coast path, with stunning views. Hotel itself a little dated, though lounge nicely updated and terrace with sea views. Breakfast excellent, dinner ok. Limited bar and service overall clearly affected by low staffing levels, though the staff actually present were really friendly and helpful at all times.

Great spot
Staff were super friendly, food was lovely and the room was well clean. Short walk to a stoney beach with a lovely little hidden cafe on the way down. Perfect for a couple! The only thing that we had to complaina about is that the room tea facilities didnt have sweetners only sugar.
