We had a wonderful stay here in the Turret Rrom. We were spoilt by the owners and staff. Tea, coffee, cookies were available. White and red wine appeared later. We could help ourselves as we wanted. Breakfast was 3 courses and was probably the best breakfast we had ever had in a B&b. We wished we were staying longer.

Perfect Frederick Getaway
Wonderful location walkable to all the major Frederick sites and nightlife. Beautiful and comfortable inn with friendly and caring staff.

This is a charming, clean, comfortable, one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast within easy walking distance to the attractions of historic Frederick. There was an issue with my Orbitz reservation not syncing up with the B&B’s booking system, but the proprietor didn’t bat an eye and even upgraded us to a more spacious room. This could have been a big problem but she handled it graciously and easily. The decor is tasteful and visually interesting, with chinoiserie elements and beautiful seashell touches throughout the gorgeous Victorian home, but it is still very clean and doesn’t feel cluttered at all. I recommend 10 Clarke to anyone who desires a memorable and personalized stay in Frederick. The breakfast is lovely as well.

Birthday stays
Michelle welcomed us and made sure we had all the information we needed for dining tips etc for dining options in Frederick on a Sunday. She told us lots of details about the house and made sure we were comfortable and had all the details we needed as well as helping us with our bags! Another staff member, Margo( apologize if the name is incorrect) let us explore a bit since folks had checked out and we were excited to choose a room for a return visit! The entire staff and the owner are wonderful! The breakfast is amazing! We plan to return for a couple of days in the summer! Thanks to all!

Location, Charm, Unpretentious Luxury
The property is lovely, beautifully restored, and super convenient to everything Frederick, MD has to offer. Nice touches throughout the inn like self-serve beverages and cookies all day, very nicely furnished rooms, and well stocked bathrooms. Delicious three course breakfast, excellent coffee and tea assortment--all with unpretentious, warm, and helpful service. You cannot go wrong here.

The Lucerne is ok for the upper west side. No coffee or refrigerator in room. Staff typical of New York- rude and unprofessional. Prices high, but clean and great neighborhood.
