The place was nice overall. We stayed in room 21, 2 twin beds. We had to climb a narrow set of stairs to the second level. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. A couple of things developed later which wasn't pleasant was that I woke up at 2 AM and felt cold. There was no heat, although setting the thermostat to 80, the AC unit blew out cold air. In the morning there was no hot water to shower. There was no television set in the room, although we didn't have time to watch it anyways. Morning breakfast was very good served by very courteous staff. Check out was very easy, just drop off the key card at the front desk. Other than no heat and cold shower, everything else was very good.

This was a great place for us to stay as we had a meeting in Zuni. The room was very spacious and so comfortable, as well as being decorated to fit the area. The breakfast was made to order and delicious large portions. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Absolutely charming inn. Friendly staff l, friendly cats, and a great breakfast. My only advice: if you’re tall, don’t stay in room 5. The ceiling is a little low :D I would definitely stay here again.

The Inn at Halona is more like a bed and breakfast. It’s part of their trading post. You check in at their store counter and pick out what you want to eat the next morning. (I’ll get back to that in a second.) We got a room in a house with shared full kitchen and living room where we could make ourselves tea or cook ourselves a meal. They also had a nice courtyard with a couple of friendly cats. A very comfortable and convenient stay. So back to breakfast! I had ordered a breakfast burrito with red chili and the kids had pancakes and eggs, and we also got a side of blue corn pancakes. Let me tell you, it was the best red chili I had on our trip and the rest of the breakfast was amazing too! Definitely staying here the next time we come through this area.

We had a cute little room that was quite comfortable. No AC at least I couldn’t find it but I could open the window and the night air was cool. Delicious breakfast!!!

charming and quaint
this is a unique gem of a place to stay. a great place for the creative, quirky and types who like off the beaten path places. Yes it is clean, safe, and quaint. It is not a hotel franchise-not cookie cutter and that is the charm of it. the staff was kind, the room was clean and the inn itself is so interesting in decor. it is in the pueblo, and there is a main road with shops very close.

8/10 Very Good

We are in a charming and traditional Inn, lovingly cared for evidenced by the art and culture within. One of the nicest properties we've stayed on this roadtrip. Our room is very small, but we have a cozy common area adjoining it, giving us the luxury to relax comfortably. Use of the small, but fully stocked kitchen is a bonus!

Amazing amazing experience!!!
Amazing amazing experience!!! If I could give this ten stars, I would!!! Wow!!! Beautiful Zuni decor! Bed was sooo comfortable! Room overlooked a gorgeous courtyard! The icing on the cake was the made-to-order breakfast. They gave us menus to fill out upon arrival the day before. I had a Denver omelet with hash browns and a Zuni-style bread thing. I couldn’t eat it all. Filling breakfast!

Not a B&B that would be booked again!
Two of my employees stayed here whole working on a flooring project in Zuni for 2+ days. It was the only accommodation in town and could have been very nice after a hard days work. Unfortunately, it was long on promises and short on delivery. The booking was for a single room with 2 twin beds. What was given was a single twin bed...and an air mattress (See pic]! They were told that room was "under construction" but because the facility was fully booked, they could not give them another room. I was told the provided breakfast was so poor, they did not attempt to eat it the second day. Eggs that were ordered over easy had cooked yokes!

A beautiful place
What a beautiful place! Super clean, great kitchen amenities (Keurig, fridge goodies), fascinating wall-hangings, framed drawings and paintings, and a small but great Zuni-related library. Roger, Ramona, and folks at the Halona Plaza restaurant were friendly and good-spirited. I am like, can't I just live in this awesome place. In the middle of old Zuni and you can feel the power and the long history of the people. Highly recommended.
