After a long day drive from San Jose to Bodega, we reached the hotel at 5PM and the room was not ready for my family. I was truly disappointed as we were tired and wanted to rest.
Lisa was a great help. She apologized made sure the room gets cleaned asap. I feel, they should keep some coffee at front desk for the guests who are waiting. Anyways, overall, our stay was good after that, the balcony opened to the bay view. They do not have any in-house kitchen but there are good restaurants at a walking distance and an early morning coffee/ice cream shop adjacent.
For the inconvenience caused to us on the first day due to delay in preparing of our room, we were compensated with $100 off per night.
We may opt for another place next time.
