Beautiful, comfortable hotel
Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms. We had a great stay! Front desk and bell staff were very helpful and our luggage arrived promptly. Only complaint is that the restaurant wasn't open Sunday morning for breakfast.

Loved location and sitting out on balcony watching people. I read on other reviews the lighting in room and bathroom was poor....yes it is. Had to move lamp from living room to bathroom and bedroom. Other than that id give it a 10.

Small but comofrtable
Enjoyed the hotel. Great location. Clean room and modern bathroom. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Bathroom shower head and door were a little in need of repair but nothing awful. Small rooms to be sure though.

The BSI is located directly across from Shepler’s ferry dock which is convenient. It is in the heart of downtown but is quiet and peaceful.

We enjoyed being on main st with the shops and restaurants right outside the door. We went in October and the weather was cold. Due to many horses, there is the expected odor in the air that we commented would have been possibly difficult to handle on warmer or hot weather, so would not pay for the Main Street balcony in the summer. Just our recommendation. We loved our room for this time of year and the horse smell is not a reflection on the hotel, it’s just the way the island is! The room was newly refurnished and beautiful, loved the bathroom. Staff was very attentive. We noticed that they were always standing at the desk, ready to address any concerns.

Bicycle Street Inn and Suites Mackinaw Island
Bicycle Street Inn and Suites had a beautiful room and helpful staff. We paid for a balcony room; however, the room was on the first floor off the main lobby and next to an alley. We were able to view the water, but we also viewed much of the things you do not want to view while relaxing on a waterfront balcony. I wonder if we were assigned this room because we booked with Hotels.com instead of directly with the hotel. I would recommend Bicycle Street Inn but be sure to ask for an upper level room.
