This property was excellent. It was clean and the staff was great. Breakfast was served at the exact time I requested it and there were restaurants and shopping all around. It was very convenient as it was walking distance to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain and Castle San’ Angel to name a few. Situated right in the middle of the city.

No lift !!! Medieval How do u carry bags up the stairs Didn’t know about the lack of lift . I have stayed at other B/B in Rome that were similar but have lifts/Elevators . No water to drink expected to lug it up . It’s a travesty since I had already booked on Expedia Couldn’t get in touch with them because of Wi-Fi signal issues. My last day in Rome was not a good one .

Amazing first time in Rome!
My husband and I took a two week trip around Europe for our honeymoon. Neither of us had been to Rome before, so we did a lot of research trying to find the best area to stay. Imperial Suite seriously is in the perfect location. It is right around the corner from the Colleseum and right next to the Roman Forum. Everything else is within walking distance as well. There is also everything you need just steps from the hotel such as shops and many restaurants. The one thing I will say is that it is a little difficult to find. This isn’t like your average hotel with the big entrance with a sign. It is directly across the street from the Ice Bar, but there is just a big wooden door without any real noticeable signage. We had to call them to be let in and then we had to walk up to the second floor. We were then met with a super nice young man who made us feel immediately welcomed. I would compare this to more of an Air B and B opposed to a hotel. It is very small with only a couple rooms, but the rooms were very cozy and inviting. Everyone we had contact with was extremely nice and always made sure we had everything we needed. They even provide breakfast which they bring right to your room! We were very happy with everything and really enjoyed our stay here! If we ever come back to Rome, we will absolutely stay here again!

Great place very close to Colloseum
Everything was good and clean. The morning breakfast was good. The Colloseum was a 4-5 minute walk, the Roman Forum was a 2 minute walk. The only complaint I had was that the lift was not available. It was locked every time we tried it. I don't know if that was the building the hotel is in though. But other than that, great stay.

Don't Stay Here
Do NOT book this hotel. It's impossible to find - entrance is unmarked in a narrow alleyway. Despite booking in January for a trip in late May and having a confirmation email 4 days prior to our stay we got there and were first told we were at the wrong hotel and then were told they did not have our reservation. All of this made more complicated by the lack of english by the one employee working there. I attempted to contact Hotels.com for help but got very little help because the phone connection was terrible and the Hotels.com customer service staff do not speak good enough english. The hotel "rebooked" us to another hotel where we had to pay extra and it turns out to be an apartment with no wifi, no soap, no free breakfast, etc. Now Hotels.com is telling me that I was given an upgrade and the property was also owned by the Imperial Suite and that free breakfast, etc. was not part of my original reservation. This is now 2 weeks after returned home and no one is helping resolve this issue. I doubt I will use Hotels.com again and I would tell anyone that does not speak Italian to definitely NOT book the Imperial Suite!!!

NEVER AGAIN
We were very un happy with this guest house and the customer service we received was non existent. When we booked, Hotels.com advertised you could check in up till 11 o'clock. We arrived at 7.45pm and no body was there. It took till after 9pm to get into the reception, AFTER WAITING OUTSIDE IN THE DARK and then another 2 hours to get into a room as no one was there!! When we received the room it wasn't the one we had booked and paid for it was a cheaper one. There was no contact information online or anywhere. It wasn't till we got into the building, another person staying had let us in, that there was a board with a contact number and email. The person who was whatsapping us has the worst customer service and we received nothing for the inconvenience that had happened. NOT EVEN A SORRY! I would never stay here again and wouldn't recommend that anyone does, because if anything does go wrong theres nothing they will do. It really ruined our trip and not even a sorry from the manager is disgusting.

A great place to stay.
What a great place this is. About 5 mins walk from the colosseum and the Forum was just at the end of our small street . The staff were great always happy to help with any queries. We stayed in the apartment , perfect for our needs. A continental breakfast was supplied every morning , delivered to your door at a time of your choice along with a freshly brewed coffee .

Excellent - made our trip to Rome
Excellent location- Roman Forums literally at the end of the road (<100m), and the Coloseum about 600m away. The 'hotel' is more of a guesthouse, perfect for those sightseeing who are going to be out for most of the day. If you are looking for a hotel with a restaurant attached etc. this is not the hotel for you. That being said, this modern 'hotel' with no more than 4 bedrooms is a great alternative to your traditional hotel. As others have said its not well sign posted from the road as you would expect, and looks like another set of flats. The rooms themselves are incredible, modern, large rooms with good facilities. There is one room with a jacuzzi which they upgraded us to for the first night- which I would highly recommend booking if you can afford to. Staff are friendly and accommodating, bringing you breakfast in bed at your chosen time and helping if you want restaurant suggestions or directions. Overall this is a very good 'hotel'. The location, modern rooms, and friendly staff make the stay very enjoyable. It is a gem and you can guarantee the prices will go up when more people find out about it.

this hotel is situated in Monti a very nice area of Rome. The only noteworthy issue was that there was no electricity on the final day.

Good hotel with good facilities
The hotel was clean and almost new in an excellent location. Unfortunately the hotel did not take eftpos/credit card payment despite the booking being made with one. This meant we had to withdraw more cash for a fee, and the staff were not particularly helpful. This was a shame, as it coloured an otherwise good basic hotel

Wow! What a find.
You probably couldn't find a room closer to the Colosseum. The suite is part of a 300+ year old building in a side street with restaurants, bars, shops and other accommodation. It is exactly the Italian experience we where looking for. Our suite was amazing. Modern, contemporary, very comfortable, spacious, lovely spa and bathroom. Daily breakfast, croissants, toast, fruit, tea, coffee provided.Rooms serviced daily. Elevator awaiting repair, suite on 2nd floor. Caught train from FCO to the Termini (last stop), then 75 bus from outside the Termini (across the square), get off at Cavour stop 5, walk to the last street on your right before the square, turn right then first right into the street. The door way is not signposted apart from the street number. It is opposite the Ice Bar.

Great location - close to attractions
We stayed at the one close to the Colosseum. The hosts were very helpful. Rooms were big and renovated. Other rooms were undergoing renovation during our stay so it was a bit dusty but it was fine. The lift was also not working at the time but the caretaker helped with luggage. Light breakfast was provided which was nice.
