I am soooo grateful that they allowed an early check-in! We had a wedding at 4 and had to drop our stuff and get ready before. Literally saved the day!!! Our room was spacious and lovely. Only complaint is that the bathroom door doesn't stay open, we had to prop it and there is no vent fan in their either. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was included and the pastries were fantastic. It was too cold for the pool but looked a little more dated than the photos. The parking was simple, easy, and very close. The overall look of the hotel is high-end and clean. Staff interaction was minimal (which is preferred by me) but everyone was very nice and available if needed. No outside noise, no loud cleaning staff. Everything was great! Thank you!!!

Quiet comfortable room.
The hotel was very clean & smelled nice throughout. Staff was very friendly. Even though the 5 Freeway was close, we didn't get any freeway noise. The room was quiet at night & the AC did not bother us at all. We would definitely consider staying there again!

West Inn & Suites in Carlsbad, CA
We stayed at the West Inn & Suites on our way to Legoland. Reception desk was very helpful and friendly. They even serve milk and cookies from 8-9 pm nightly. The rooms were spacious enough for our family of 4 and clean (my biggest must have). Beds were comfy. If you are visiting Legoland and don't want to spend the crazy rates at the resort hotel, stay here. It is close enough, comfortable, and more affordable.

Clean, pleasant and simple hotel, convenient to Legoland and the Carlsbad outlets. Was informed curtly at check in that the hotel only accepts physical credit cards, no tap, and does not accept cash, though other staff members were polite and helpful. Surprisingly good cooked breakfast too with scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage patties and waffles.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable. Also don't like there were no blankets but covered duvets combined with the AC made me cold trying to sleep. Requested more blankets and got more covered duvets which did not keep me warm at all.
