Way too expensive for a Motel 6.
This is a pretty basic Motel 6. Easy freeway access, staff was fine, it was clean but very basic. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable. If it was a cheap stay, it would be fine, but the price for what it is utterly ridiculous.

Nicely remodeled hotel and the front staff were friendly. However, the bed was horribly uncomfortable and the “duvet” was a sheet wrapped around a blanket.

I wouldn’t stay here if you have another option. The place looked nothing like the pictures. The bed appeared as if it had been slept in, with the sheets simply put back in place. The floor, nightstand, and table were dirty and had not been wiped down. I don’t know how they can justify charging $300 a night for this dump.

Palm Desert during Tennis week.
‘Deluxe’ room, had a very small microwave, a small fridge, an odd shower that pointed towards the wall. A couple of stray cats tried to get in the room. Also, charged way more than I was quoted during the booking experience. Receptionist said this is due to the tennis being on that weekend. I learned my lesson and will pay up front in future. Generally needed a good makeover.

Good location, cute design, but only two thin pillows on the bed? No extra blanket? And no bedside table on one side of the bed? A few small changes would greatly improve the comfort of this motel.

Motel Ick!
First room had public hair and mascara on the pillows and hairs on the towels and it smelled like death. Then the front desk guy gave another room blood and public hair and encrusted food on the sheet. Third room was okay no soap but the staff was very nice about it and accommodated us until we were happy
