I cannot say enough about B&B Dvor Tacen! The staff goes above and beyond to help you with any questions you may have. The young woman at reception was lovely, even called for me to make an appointment for a haircut. The manager of the bar and restaurant is a hardworking young man, so pleasant and helpful. The staff was truly exceptional and naturally kind. The room was large, recently renovated, with a/c. Large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, taken on the patio. There is a very popular and good restaurant next door, that is related to the hotel. Parking is free but quite busy! Although located outside Ljubljana, there is a bus that runs every 20 min and takes you downtown the city (where parking is virtually impossible) in 25 min.

They serve the best breakfast spread during our 10 day tour of Croatia and Slovenia. Very nice relaxing b&b and the friendliest service we had the entire trip too. It is 20min to old down Lubljana by car. They offer free bus pass but we didn’t get a chance to use that since we drove.
