Staff here are very pleasant and attentive. at check in, i was offered a better room, although i had to pay additional fee. I had paid for a lake view, but from this upgraded lake wing position, the view of the lake and mountain were excellent. not sure what i would have got !! Food in the restaurant was very good, and the buffet breakfast offered very many choices to suit probably all tastes. Rooms were clean, and room service was good too. Cannot really mark down this hotel, although i did not get the free drinks suggested by hotels.com we should get

Our family loved the food (especially the buffet breakfast), the spectacular view of the Taal Lake, spacious and clean rooms and specially the friendly and helpful staff!
