Its gone down hill since our last stay.
The facility is in need of refurbishment, the iron had caked on lint, the ironing fell apart when used, there was no conditioner in the pump bottle, the bathroom needs updating, lose silicon, step in bath shower, the coffee machine at breakfast wouldn't work, it sent hot water instead of milk, the staff tried to fix and were friendly but the milk within was like cottage cheese. Needs a good clean. Probably will spend the $30 extra for comfort and quality elsewhere.

Not a good hotel
This hotel is more like a motel. Very basic accommodation. Room was smelly, furniture old and ugly. Carpet was dirty and disgusting. We stayed there two nights. First night we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Very ordinary food. Staff were nice and friendly. I don't stay there next time I am in Canberra, and I don't recommend this hotel.

Corridors and room smelt of disinfectant. There was no body soup in the shower dispenser. We had to ask for a kettle and then discovered there was no milk pods and only one type of tea. Very very basic place. And the beds rolled about on the floor.

Arrived late to check in, all was ok. Got to our room and a strong cigarette smell wafted through room, predominately in the bathroom but was quiet strong all through the room. Rooms need a paint, especially around windows. Disappointed in breakfast, paid $25 for breakfast and only had continental, but prices includes both. Ok for those who will have both, but for some who only have toast or fruit.

Good but not great
The room had been partly refurbished but the carpet was tired and the bathroom had no grab handles to get over the bath to take a shower. The false ceiling in the bathroom made it feel closed in. There were no lamps and the decor was stark. No handles to aid entry and exit to the pool. The food in the restaurant was adequate but not original. The breakfast was very good with a good selection and good value although the coffee was terrible..The location is quiet and close to the city. Limited TV channels. Good but no great.
