Fabulous quiet hotel close to Chamonix
A beautiful hotel in a very quiet and secluded area. Very friendly staff that offered us a free upgrade and great advice about what to do and where to hike. The restaurant is also wonderful with probably one of the beat wine lists I've seen. Bravo! You must have a car to get to this place however. If you want to be close to Chamonix (but not IN Chamonix) it's perfect!

A perfectly little hide-away at the edge of Chamonix. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I left a pair of shoes in the cupboard, and they arranged to forward them on to my next hotel! We only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed longer.

Lovely traditional chalet, with cosy bar area and great restaurant. I’d recommend booking the restaurant in advance for the night you arrive as there was only one slot left when we arrived. There aren’t any other restaurants close by so you would have to get a taxi to the nearby villages for other restaurants.

Peace in the mountains.
It was a great stay. Awesome area for peace and quiet. Great service and amenities. Restaurant a bit too expensive and not quite to our liking but breakfast was great.

Great location slightly outside main town but easily reachable via free and regular public transport.
Room was cosy but comfortable and well furnished - with a great view of the mountains
Standard of rooms, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was excellent - we had a very nice stay and would return in the future!

We love this hotel. Great location, cosy with really nice sitting area and good food. Breakfasts could be a bit more imaginative and it would be nice to have some cake or a snack when you get in form skiing but overall a good option for Argentiere

Beautiful remote hotel with great restaurant
We had a great time skiing from Le Jeu de Paume. Very friendly staff and a great restaurant and and bar--all be a bit on the expensive side. The hotel is of the beaten track, in a small village, so you need a car if you want to go somewhere else for dinner. Chamonix is only 15 minutes away, though.

It was end of season so last few nights I was the only person at the hotel which was an interesting experience. The staff made me feel welcome nevertheless.

A dream spot in the Alps
This is a charming place, exactly what I think of when the Alps come to mind. I felt welcomed from the time I arrived. The lodge is located in a very peaceful community. It was easy drive to Chamonix and Argentiere.
I stayed in room 21 with a lovely view. The restaurant is wonderful and the service friendly. After a long day snowboarding or hiking, the hottub and sauna were nice features to have. This lodge is so comfortable and the views so pretty that I didn’t feel like I was missing anything just hanging out around the lodge on a rainy day!
I’m pretty self-sufficient when I travel, but I relied on the staff for recommendations for equipment rental and organizing tours and directions, and they never disappointed in their knowledge and kindness. Carolle, Maria, and Julian all went above and beyond to make sure I got the most out of my time in Chamonix.
The location can’t be beat. The rooms are comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful. I can’t wait to go back!
