Hotel property was very well maintained, on-site restaurant was great! Staff were very friendly and great hospitality. Rooms were a bit limited on extras (small tv, limited towels, no coffee maker etc) but bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very large and renovated. Overall positive stay! It is in an area on its own so not close to other restaurants etc, but a great location for a short stay and only 20 min drive from Heraklion airport!

Amazing place we will definitely come back to Crete and stay here! While we were here had all we needed, home made breakfast daily, delicious food for lunch or dinner. On site convenient store and laundry. Great pool, view and drinks - we used them all. The location has a gorgeous view, relaxing vibe and easy access to tourist sites on the island. Thank you to this family business for your hospitality!!!

Clean, friendly family run apartments.
Our stay was fantastic. The family was very welcoming. Couldn't fault them! The restaurant had some very good quality food. The apartment was clean and came with wifi and aircon. Would definitely recommend to friends. It's worth having a car if you stay for a long break.

Fabulous hotel and family
Slightly off the beaten track (although 2 beaches within easy walking distance, and others a little bit further) but hotel does offer rental bikes and rental cars, both high standard and very reasonable prices. Family ran, everyone is so friendly and very helpful, couldn't have been better. Home made food is lovelly and not expensive. All rooms have a beautiful sea view and balcony, cannot rate this hotel highly enough! Would reccomend to everyone we had the best time at Spiros-Soula and we hope to go there again!

Little mountain getaway!
We loved the peace and quiet of the location. The attention from the family was second to none. We would go back in a heartbeat. While secluded enough, only 15/20 mins by bus to Heraklion.

Overall we were very happy with the hotel and value. The staff were friendly and pool/restaurant very nice. Room was a bit dated and basic but clean. Only gripe is the single beds which cannot be actually pushed together properly if travelling as a couple.

Best hotel for travelers with car
The apartment hotel have big territory with swimming pool, mini market, good restaurant. But it not far from the sea by walk, about 15-20 minutes. But if you are traveling by car it will take about 5 minutes to get to Ligaria beach or 10 minutes to Agia Pilagia.

STAY HERE!!!
Immediately after booking this hotel I received a confirmation email offering help booking a cab/rental car from the airport and directions to the hotel. I received another email from them on the day of arrival to let me know they were expecting my small group and couldn't wait to greet us. We were not disappointed. I have never received such warm and friendly hospitality at a hotel before. We arrived at nearly midnight and were greeted with a friendly smile, warm welcome, and shots of raki. Jiorgos indulged us with his father's homemade wine. The kitchen was long closed and we asked if there were food around. Jiorgos spoke with his brother and offered us Greek salads that were delicious. After more wine, we were helped to our room. This family knows how to do it right! The room was simple, but exactly what we needed. The view and atmosphere were incredible. My friends and I had plans to travel the island and stay in other locations. We missed Spiros-Soula so much that we went back for our final night. I would venture to say we had the most relaxing night/day of my life just hanging out by the pool eating, drinking, and being merry. The hospitality cannot be beat. The price would be hard to beat as well! This family will bend over backwards to ensure you have a pleasurable stay. I highly recommend you stay at this hotel! I would love to stay there again if ever I have the opportunity!

Translation results They say it is a family business from grandmother to grandchildren. They must be blessed with a good staff to maintain such a facility. The meals are family style and the evenings are like a family party. The guests were very relaxed and friendly.
