Hôtel is in a great location for exploring Ambroise. Staff very obliging and rooms brand new, clean and comfortable. However as there was no air conditioning every room had their windows wide open day and night. Outside almost finished so still a few building noises and garden improvements to be made and for this reason we didn’t use the small swimming pool available.

This is a brand new hotel; yes some areas are being worked on as previous reviews advise. However, we stayed for 4 days mid August and further works I suspect had been completed. We found the hotel to be lovely. The staff were great and very helpful with things like advising on restaurants and booking cabs etc. The outdoor pool area is great, gated for safety and with the added benefit of a lift up to it. I think this is superb for those with limited mobility. The rooms are compact but well thought out and nicely decorated. It’s a 5 minute walk into the main area of Amboise. You can reach everywhere on foot. We liked it so much, we stayed another 4 days. A nice place to relax.

La nouvelle pépite d'Amboise
Cet hôtel a ouvert cette année (Avril 2024) et c'est une petite pépite ! C'est un vieux bâtiment (un ancien pensionnat) qui a été rénové et transformé en hôtel. Situé dans le centre d'Amboise, à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville. Il est pourvu d'un parking (et de bornes de recharge). Meublé et décoré avec goût et sobriété. Le personnel est très aimable et aux petits-soins ! Très bon petit-déjeuner ! La Maison Rabelais dispose d'une piscine et des lodges sont en construction. C'est un établissement que j'ai déjà recommandé autour de moi et j'espère y revenir bientôt.

Muy agradables las habitaciones, limpias, camas cómodas, silencioso, con una pequeña cocineta con lo básico, amplio estacionamiento, aunque afuera hay lugar para dejar el auto y es seguro, no cuenta con elevador, el personal muy atento.

Nuovo hotel, scelto per proposta interessante e curiosità. Discreta colazione e piscina esterna utile. Staff cordiale ma impossibilitato a risolvere tante piccole e grandi esigenze che si possono avere in hotel. Hanno dovuto aprire prima che la struttura fosse completata. La hall è carina e le camere sarebbero belle se fossero più complete. Mancano armadi o modi di appoggiare o conservare gli abiti per esempio. Mancano prese corrente vicino ai divano letto. Manca areazione in bagno e l'umidità è restata sempre presente con il pavimento perennemente bagnato. I lavori in corso non permettono la pulizia duratura di alcun ambiente. Se avete bambini teneteli sott'occhio perché al momento ci sono zone non completate o fossi che rendono l'area esterna non sicura. C'è tantissima potenzialità e la cornice della città di Amboise è meravigliosa, quindi buona fortuna per il futuro.
