The best part would be the owners. They helped us arrange transportation to and from the port. The wife also drove us to the train station so we could go to Rome for a day. One normally expects a front desk with a representative. this is a minimal operation on many fronts. The room was small, we expected something like a restaurant or snack bar, but not available. The hotel is small and in a residential area, although it is across the street from the Mediterranean Sea. There is a bar about 5 minute's walk, a convenience store (Todis) about 10 minutes, and a grocery store (Conad) about 20-25 minutes walk. The nearest ATM and restaurants are in the downtown area, about a mile walking. There is a water cooler in the hall. Overall it wasn't bad. However, we were scheduled to stay there a few days after our cruise, but decided to get a hotel in Rome, and we got NO REFUND when we canceled the second stay, about 3-4 days in advance.
