Our room was small and very basic, though with a small balcony. The bathroom had a shower that relied on a water pump, which produced rhythmic surges in the pressure. The paper products were on the rough side.We stayed in a newer section, which has an elevator. The main building has a very elegant staircase, which fortunately we did not have climb, an agreeable old-fashioned parlor, and a serviceable breakfast room. Theoretically, there is a bar, but in practice there is no one to serve.
There is good parking, which costs extra of course and must be reserved in advance. The staff is helpful and hospitable. The breakfast buffet featured a good selection of breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, yogurt, coffee, cocoa, juices, etc. The hotel is well located for restaurants and shopping, as well as sightseeing.
