We’ve been traveling abroad for 5 weeks and this is the first hotel that was unapologetic about under delivering on our guest experience almost to a point of oddly taking pride in it. They admitted to having AC that couldn’t keep the rooms cold or even tolerable and said there was “nothing they could do about it” yet didn’t offer anything to make up for the fact that you had to sweat through the entire evening, not even a comp breakfast or croissant as an apology or a more appropriate bill reduction, instead charged us for the 2 drinks we had at the pool because they called us after we booked and said we couldn’t enjoy the restaurant for lunch or dinner because it was sold out. Even more odd, as a hotels.com VIP breakfast was actually included, yet they enforced that it was not, LOL! The only thing I would change of this entire vacation, would be avoiding the out of touch staff at this property. They are the epitome of providing the opposite of guest satisfaction. The property on its own is amazing, unfortunately ruined by people who don’t understand anything about the hospitality buisness. Stay somewhere else!
