Property was as expected, perhaps could use some repairs and upgrades. Buffets were GREAT. Fine dining was average.
On the negative:
Bombay Indian restaurant it was simply put -HORRIBLE.
I am from that part of the world, I understand Indian / Pakistani food, I want you to believe me, they have got it all wrong.
In RIU palaces' defense, it appears to me and my wife, whoever was or is in charge of the recipes, is MOST PROBABLY upset for something and is now trying to back-stab the company.
Nothing, I mean, Nothing, tasted correct.
Poor staff wanted to blame their Mexican Cooks. We told them it is not their fault; someone has got it all wrong.
Lobster Biryani (sounds scrumptious) OMG!! Other than the overcooked lobster, my wife actually sent the biryani back, we still don't know what that was.
The gulab Jamun (seems easy, it can be purchased frozen) But -OMG, we have no idea what the heck that was, but for sure it was NOT Gulab Jamun.
Terrible experience. I beg the management to bring in a proper Indian Chef to another look at the recipes, team, they are WRONG.
