Horrible - stay away! Dirty & no customer service
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty bed frames, black mold in bathroom and in room. Everything is outdated and there are 20 beach chairs only at beach and maybe 30 beach chairs at the pool for over 1000 customers - ridiculous. You could consider sitting on sand but there are 4*4’s all over sand area and horses peeing and pooping all over so sitting on sand is also out of question. The pool is also dirty and filled w empty drink cups and empty plates and no one seems to care or want to clean it up. We raised many of these issues to several people working here but no one seems to care and they say talk to management - management also does not care. I travel around globe at least 10 times a year and realize Customer service in Panama is bad- but this place tops it w being worst! Check in and check out is worst ever- we prepaid and yet waited in 2 separate lines over 1 hour to check in and then another 1 hour wait to just return the keys- all normal hotels have key drop off areas. We came for new year eve and the only good thing was the year end show. Buffet food is not bad for buffet style and the food service people were nice. The beach overall is also dirty but this is common in Panama as people leave trash when they come to beach. This place seems ok for Panamanians but anyone used to nice places should stay away.

I am of Panamanian decent and I am embarrassed by this resort. The description provided by hotels.com and the pictures are the opposite of what I witnessed. The gym is DEPLORABLE. The equipment was either broken, missing or rusted. No ventilation in the gym, and when I requested for the ac to be turned on I was handed a broken remote for my to turn it on. No repairman came to check it out. My room was filled with mold, dust, dirty sheets, dirty toilet. No coffee maker, no iron. The ceiling had mold, the closet, the lamp shade too. Only three restaurants were open one at a time. The drinks were served in cheap 99 cents plastic cups. The towel station closed earlier than 6. The elevator was filled with mold as well. When I asked to change my room, I was ignored. I requested a refund or at least partial from hotels.com and they said it was non-refundable. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE.

If I could do 0 stars, I would. For starters, my family and I made a reservation with the assumption that we would stay in the main resort. Upon our arrival they say we're staying at the Towne Center which was "bigger" and better. We get to this room and the smell of humidity is pungent, pillows are flat, sink is clogged (I have pictures), taking over a half hour to drain, no hot water when we arrived at night, absolutely NO food after hours. My 90 year old grandmother was staying in an apartment with no towels, so we gave her one of our clean ones so she wouldn't have to wait long. This only made our stay WORSE! They wouldn't let us check out until we brought the towel back to the room. Overall a horrible experience and my family and I all agreed to not go back

The stay was great. The check-in process was terrible. I stood in line for 90 minutes, just to get checked in and then they set me to another desk to stand in line for 10 more minutes to get the room key. I went to my room and another guest was already in that room. The did get me another room, quickly and then the rest of the stay was great.
