An Wonderful Experience
This trip was by far one of the best experiences we've ever had. My husband and I are frequent travelers but this island stole our hearts. We started off with a bad experience at the airport with an unpleasant welcome. (This kind of had us thinking that this trip was a bad idea) Upon arriving to Blue Lagoon our experience quickly changed. Ulon at the front desk was EXCEPTIONAL. Her warm welcome and her kind heart took us away! She went above and beyond when it came to customer service. She gave us ideas of things to do and places to eat. Ulon provided services far beyond my exceptions and we are grateful to have encountered her. Her kind and pleasant demeanor allow us to quickly forgot about the issue at the airport and focus on our trip. She is a gem and a wonderful asset to the front desk at Blue Lagoon! She is definitely the reason that we will return to Blue Lagoon! The cleaning services and dining areas all were an absolute delight. Every encounter we had at Blue Lagoon was amazing. The hotel is an absolute wonder. The marina view is breath taking (we didn't want to leave) We are already planning our trip back and wouldn't stay at any other hotel. Upon arriving you must ask for ULON, she is AMAZING. You will have an experience you will never forget.

The view was spectacular and the service was awesome. All the staff are very nice and helpful. They did a great job cleaning the room. You can also take a kayak boat and paddle around marina for free if you stay at the hotel. Highly recommend The Loft restaurant upstairs. The food was good and service is Awesome!

Declining hotel with bad service
Review We visited this hotel expecting great things. We had visited 10 years before and the hotel was modern and fresh. It would seem very little has been done to the hotel since our last stay. While this was tolerable- our service was not. We arrived at 1200 having emailed ahead. They said our room would be available shortly. We checked at 1330,1400,1430 before offering to speak to house keeping ourselves. There was no communication to clean the room and when we asked we got sarcastic and sirly comments from the receptionist Glyn. At 1500 exactly we got our room. We thought this was where the bad service would end! We locked our door- hung a ‘do not disturb’ sign and went to sleep. 7 hours later at 0705 we found Glyn stood on our room! She had ignored the sign, not knocked and used the master key to come straight in. This was inexcusable. We asked to speak to a manager on checkout. There wasn’t one. Eventually I asked her to call someone. I spoke with the financial directly- who told me there was absolutely no manager in employment. They seem to be between MDs. I emailed my concerns and they’ve been bounced to another director. Breakfast was awful- save your money and buy it at the cafe in the marina instead. Staff need retraining, management need appointing and someone needs to look at the issues at this hotel before it gets worse. Avoid staying here.

Good hotel
We had a room overlooking the marina, room was spacious and comfortable, we did have an issue with the airconditioner not working so were moved to another room. Hotel has a couple of restaurants and a cafe both had good food and god service. The cafe is not affilliated with the hotel, also had a small supermarked on site which was handy as hotel is not within walking distance of shops.

Trying hard and for the most part, succeeding.
I was in SVG on business. For the moment, the choice of 5 star hotels in non existent. For business one must check expectations in terms of services. The hotel is very comfortable. The room was very spacious and bathroom clean if a little small. I loved the view from my room of the pretty boats moored at the marina. The hotel is on a marina that includes many services related to the marina, including a café that is not with the hotel. Keep in mind since the food there is not on the same level that the food served at the restaurant with the hotel. There the food was excellent: I had a great buffet one evening and the continental breakfast was perfect to get started. The hotel is somewhat isolated so do not count on the "neighbourhood" to provide additional entertainment and services. If you are a tourist, a rental or a taxi is a must. I received an excellent suggestion for a taxi from the reception. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. A couple of things on the negative side: the roosters are pretty noisy and get going very early so bring your earplugs if you are a light sleeper. A nice beach is adjacent to the hotel but the access can be difficult for elderly people as one needs to climb/walk on a few slippery stones . I would suggest that the hotel builds a small staircase or ramp to make the access to the beach more user-friendly. More vendors on the beach (chairs/umbrellas) and a beach bar would also be welcome.
