Nice affordable hotel close to Metro line 4
A good stay to an affordable price. Nice staff and good french breakfast. The neighbourhood is ethnic with many ethnic restaurants around Boulv. de Strassburg. Close to Canal Sct. Martin are french restaurants. Close to Metro line 4, which takes you across Paris from Montmartre via Les Halles and Louvre to around Montparnasse.

6/10 Good

The hotel location is good. Near bus & train station, restaurants, and pharmacy. However, as soon as you step out the front door it is truly you feel like you are in African town. It is a bit scary to come in and out of the hotel.

Nice little hotel
Clean and welcoming hotel in a lively part of town. Great for the metro and lots of cafes nearby. Feels a little intimidating at first if you aren’t used to a lively vibe but it all goes quiet before 11pm allowing a good sleep.

Great budget hotel
This is a great budget hotel. I stayed 3 nights. There are two metros close by which makes it easy to get around Paris and to/from the airport. I had room 103. No street noise, but you can hear the room next door. Numerous restaurants and a couple of good grocery stores close by. There’s a lot of foot traffic during the day. But everyone is respectful of tourists. I would stay there again.

6/10 Good

This isn’t a luxury hotel but the location is great, 30 seconds from the metro and a great central location surrounded by bars and restaurants - rooms were very clean and the shower is good.
Susannah, 1-night trip

Service was great. It was a bit noisy at night with the windows open

10/10 Exceptional

The staffs are really nice and helpful. The area is a bit noisy for us at night.
Zin, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Unless you take the train it isnt near anytime, homeless people near by, no food at hotel, breakfast is a croissant, noisy with sirens and room was dirty. Building is okay and staff are okay. Property is older
Cynthia, 6-night trip

4/10 Fair

Was ok but would choose something else next time. The sheets to be changed are left in the hallway making it risky to walk

It's fine for the price and area. Simple for staying over night near the train station.

Was under renovation for the olympics, so a little noisy at times.
Ashlyn, 2-night trip

Hotel is nice, rooms are clean and modest size, however there is no A.C. So consider carefully if you're coming on hot weather.

Stayed in room 606 - balcony is great , location is great, staff and housekeeping are great but location of property is so dirty and full of people late at night.
Lily, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Pros: Good water pressure. Clean sheets and floors. Very good wifi speed. 89MB Cons: the area feels unsafe after 10pm. A lot of drunk people screaming at night. Nothing the hotel can do about it. More of a note to solo travelers
Yana, 2-night trip

The rooms were hot as there was no ac but fans were provided by the friendly staff

Generally ok but disappointing service
We had to spend a night in Paris after delays to our train service which meant we missed the train to our final destination. This was the best rated / best value in the area for a budget hotel. It was generally clean, the bed was fine and the free breakfast was welcome. However, we didn't have any hot water in the room which we didn't find out until the next morning. It turned out there was an issue with the heating system but nothing was mentioned when we went down for . The receptionist apologised when we memtioned it when checking out but it really isn't good enough when you're paying for a bed and shower. We had shower at the next hotel which cut into our day

Good value hotel
We had a good night of sleep in this no frills hotel - great for a short stay, clean and convenient
Aude, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We were staying because of the Olympics, all the prices had sky rocketed and this was more basic than we would normally book. Saying that the location was excellent for the metro and plenty of places to eat within a short distance. Very clean and tidy, no aircon, it was very hot there was a fan. It was very noisy in the street outside at night but not a problem with the windows closed. Staff were very helpful, we had a great time

Property in very budy area. Somewhat noisy but there was a football game so bars were packed in the area. It was close to things and room was nice.
