Everything was great, except for the hordes of North American guests who have absolutely no decorum or idea of the volume of their voices at breakfast. The room was bright, tidy and with excellent facilities such as kitchen and coffee maker. Special shout out to Sabina who basically planned my entire weekend in Edinburgh on arrival. Laundry app was useful but I didn't spend all my credit so I guess I'll have to come back and do some laundry at some stage in the future.

The room was fine, but the bed was too high off the floor for either my husband or myself to sit at comfortably. Not being explained to us either about the electrical and how the key card controls. All the lights from the door was a bit overwhelming when we first entered the room. But the bed was comfortable. It was quiet and we enjoyed the room from that standpoint.

Wilde is in a great location, easy walking distance to everything, especially Grassmarket with its great dining. We had a ground floor courtyard room, which felt exposed. Also the rooms ate not sound-proofed and we heard the noise from the people upstairs. The room was nice, but could use some touch up. It worked for having breakfast in the room. The staff were nice and responded to our requests.

Nicely located for Edinburgh Old Town at the base of the Grassmarket, modern and functional. The rooms were extremely well equipped, very clean but very modern and minimalist hence a bit lacking in comfort. Beds very firm chairs hard, difficult to lounge comfortably in room but there is plenty of seating in the lobby.
