The location is excellent and the property is quite nice. Service, specially room service, was very poor. I had to beg more than once for them to change sheets, towels, toilet paper...things one shouldn't need to do at a property that charges as much as they do.

The room was very clean the property is great and the view of the castle is amazing. The location within Edinburgh is excellent. Staff were very nice and helpful. One minor issue wad that the staff should know when selling the breakfast to guests if there are vegan and dairy free options available.

Everything was great, except for the hordes of North American guests who have absolutely no decorum or idea of the volume of their voices at breakfast. The room was bright, tidy and with excellent facilities such as kitchen and coffee maker. Special shout out to Sabina who basically planned my entire weekend in Edinburgh on arrival. Laundry app was useful but I didn't spend all my credit so I guess I'll have to come back and do some laundry at some stage in the future.

The room was fine, but the bed was too high off the floor for either my husband or myself to sit at comfortably. Not being explained to us either about the electrical and how the key card controls. All the lights from the door was a bit overwhelming when we first entered the room. But the bed was comfortable. It was quiet and we enjoyed the room from that standpoint.

Wilde is in a great location, easy walking distance to everything, especially Grassmarket with its great dining. We had a ground floor courtyard room, which felt exposed. Also the rooms ate not sound-proofed and we heard the noise from the people upstairs. The room was nice, but could use some touch up. It worked for having breakfast in the room. The staff were nice and responded to our requests.
