We were disappointed. No where was it noted or were we told about the area being a complete construction site that started very early in the morning. Even the glasses in the bar were rattling. When we requested to be put on the other side of the hotel to get away from the noise it was not available. We had requested adjoining rooms with our kids and they were not adjoining but they told us right across the hall which was not accurate as well. The hotel restaurant and bar was very hot; too hot to actually eat or enjoy a drink. Great location to walk to the Royal Mile and loved the staff.

Very nicely located just below the Royal Mile, and above the train station, convenient to most things. Food in the restaurant was fine but of course, who can resist getting pub food? For some reason the card to our grandson's room kept deactivating but staff always smilingly got him a new one.

Not advised we were upgraded. Flyer in room confirmed '10% discount in restaurant'. When not given queried with Manager told did not include breakfast, I commented this was misrepresentation and should have been made clear or the flyer removed from the room.
