Hotel is pretty and a GREAT location on Las Olas and the Riverwalk. Good breakfast but the coffee could have been hotter. Saw some tiny (microscopic bugs) around the coffee maker tray in the room.

Meh
Bed was uncomfortable. Pillows were not great either and they only provided 3 small ones. Outlet next to the bed didn’t work on one side. Shower water pressure was terrible. Also they didn’t seem to understand my request for a special need. I sleep with a CPAP machine so I asked for distilled water. They left a drinking water (smart water) in the room instead.

Great Location! and Helpful Staff!
This hotel was an amazing option for 2 nights pre our cruise! First of all, Brickell is such an urban modern and cool location. There are many restaurants and shops on the same street and the metro over station is 1 minute walk away. The pool was extremely useful on the hot mornings and had great views and comfy loungers. When we entered our room our blackout blind happened to be jammed and wouldn’t move on the IPAD when we phoned the front desk they offered to move us straight away with no hesitation and our new room was perfect. The room was very clean and all controlled by iPad! The bed was HUGE and very comfortable. Really reccomend this hotel for the value and for a short stay. And the best part, NO HIDDEN FEES. No fee on card is taken at check in

Definitely and older style hotel. It was very clean and the staff were excellent. The location is perfect, a lot of shopping and dining within walking distance and the cruise port was only about a 10 minute taxi ride away. The elevators are small, as is to be expected with older properties. Will stay here again.

I would stay there again
A lovely older hotel right in the heart of Las Olas. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops close by. Food in The Golden Lyon great and well priced. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant OK and a little pricey but not too bad. My room was in the older part of the hotel and smelled damp and musty. Bathroom was tiny. People I spoke to who were in The Tower said their room was very good. I've stayed overnight in Ft. Lauderdale many times when starting a cruise the next day and this is the first hotel I would go to again and maybe stay longer next time. Good value for the price charged.
