The good:
- The rooms are a little dated but overall fine.
- Pool area is nice
The Bad:
We attempted to check in at 2:15. For some reason, they are hard lined about the 3PM check-in even if the room is ready.
When we returned at 3, they said the room wasn't ready & they would call my cell when it was. 5 minutes later our room was ready. In order to get a parking pass, you have to talk to the “concierge”. Concierge is just the person trying to talk you into going to a timeshare sales meeting. We parked the car in the lower garage where we were then told we had to move the car to the upper garage after we had our luggage out. We got the room keys, they didn't work. I went back down, they reprogrammed the keys, they didn't work. We changed rooms, got new keys, they didn’t work. They sent maintenance up to the room the repair the lock as we unpacked our luggage. We settled in & were ready to go to the beach when they were not able to fix the lock & we moved to another room. At this time I’m not happy with the situation at which point the front desk is not being very communicative, leaving their maintenance person to work with me who tells me to “relax”. They offered the resort fee to be removed. I’ve never seen the fee removed from my bill because at checkout, they were not able to provide me with a bill since they're desk didn't open for 10 more minutes.
“We strive for 5” is at their checkin desk. Guess that's how many times it takes to get working keys.
