Loud, not all that clean and crowded with tour groups. The acclaimed breakfast was like eating in a student cafeteria. Dont expect high end service. As San Francisco hotels go, it was a deal but I would not stay there again.

Go-to Hotel in San Francisco
When I stay in San Francisco, I choose the RIU. It‘s perfectly located in walking distance to Fisherman‘s Wharf and Pier 39. There‘s also Public transportation just around the corner. The breakfast buffet is nice, with a good and fresh selection of fruit, salad, hot items and bagels. The Fitness area is clean and is well tended to. Excellent staff who are always proactively looking out for you.

Great location near Fishermans Wharf. The hotel was clean and looked updated and modern. The bar was well stocked and the ambiance was good. The rooms were modern and clean. The hotel had several outdoor fireplaces which my family took advantage of.
