False advertisement for parking fee
We booked this hotel because of its location, the good rate, and also $20 parking fee according to Hotel.com and the other online booking agencies, as the parking cost can be very high with hotels. To our surprise, when we arrived, the front desk personnel told us that their parking lot just closed a few days ago, and we had to park in other parking structures nearby. We ended up paying $39 a night at a public parking lot that’s two blocks away for three nights. If the hotel informed us before hand, we could have picked another hotel with free parking. We understand that the pandemic makes things different, but they could have update the info with their booking agencies. False advertisement is really like cheating their customers. Also, the room is small with double beds. Other than above, the hotel is right next to the Union Square, which is close to other city attractions.

Very good 8.0
The location is good and its in the center of the city...very clean and the bed very comfortable but no aircon that is the bad side...but the weather that time was ok so no problem

Good 6.0
The people were very nice but the place is ok but the main doors are way to loud when they shout. There was no valley parking like it was at the advertisement.

Nice hotel. Prices good.
Room was nice and affordable . Service and cleanliness very high. Room a little crowded with furniture. Quiet but not a lot of fresh air on this inside room. Next time I will spend just a little more and upgrade.

Unhappy Staff is Obvious
The hotel itself I like. Each one of the desk clerks that I interacted with with the exception of the young man with a french accent, were very unwelcoming and rude. One of them was outside smoking as me and my brother were walking out, and I said a courteous "hello" to him, and he just looked at me and didn't respond. To me, that is so rude! When I checked in, the original room they gave me was very tiny and had no view of the city. I had to call up and ask if there were other rooms, and they had several with wonderful views. The experience was a bit discriminatory, if you ask me and I likely won't be staying here again. Even the parking attendant in the garage which the hotel charged me $20 for on a Sunday (ridiculous)...acted like I had disrupted his day by showing up. What I get from the staff is that upper management probably should figure out what they can do to make their employees happier to be at work, and the staff need to remember when they applied for their jobs and how grateful they were when they got it; and that the guests they check in, pay their salary. I have been a manager for several years and if one of my employees EVER was so rude to one of my customers, I would either fire them on the stop, or re-train/demote them. I wish it would have been more friendly.
