The Musée Lumière in Lyon is a museum and institute dedicated to the life and works of the Lumière Brothers, particularly their contributions to the art of cinema. The museum purports to be located on the very spot where the art of cinematography was born. It offers projections, interactive features, documents, artifacts, ephemera, and information about the brothers and their works.

If you are a cinephile, you probably already know the importance of the Lumière Brothers, from their original cameras, the development of color and 3D photos, and more. You can see all of that at the Musée Lumière and even learn a few things you may not have known.
