Montpellier has cultivated a certain way of life that's not complete without a fine dining experience. Like many of its Mediterranean neighbours, Good restaurants are not in short supply in this beautiful southern city. Whether it's Fougasse bread, brasucade de moules (mussels cooked over coals) or chichoumeille (a sort of ratatouille), Montpellier's specialities evoke a certain mystery, hidden beneath their enigmatic names. Treat yourself to a meal in one of the following local restaurants in Montpellier.
