A hotel and area that has seen better days. Cramped room and bathroom. Very narrow bed. Unit bath is old and fading, with old, non-directional shower head.

We stayed during a very popular time in Hirosaki, with the cherry blossom festival in full swing. The hotel is a little too far from the station to walk with lots of luggage so we recommend going by taxi. At first they couldn't find our reservations, but everything was sorted. Comfortable hotel.

Decent budget hotel. Stayed 2 nights, the bed was hard. Parking is available right next to the hotel. Overall a good budget hotel. Great area around the hotel, lovely city to walk around! A lot of great sights (castle, parks, museums) onsen and cute cafes with amazing apple pies!

Great for the price....
The carpet and walls were dirty. However, the amenities were great and the staff was friendly.

Shabby and dated hotel, would not recommend
Good:
Front desk staff tried to help with any issues; buffet breakfast on 13th floor with large windows on all sides overlooking city; walkable (20 mins) to Castle
Bad:
Hotel uses actual keys with heavy wooden keychain (photo); dirty carpet in room and in hallways and elevators (photo); very uncomfortable bed and pillows; shabby walls, furniture and decor, and walls and furniture had many scuffs and scrapes (photo); flashlight in room for emergencies had very weak light (photo) so went to front desk and they replaced.

Business hotel with a view.
Business hotel class rooms. No security safe in the room.
The views from the top floor dining room (breakfast) were a pleasant surprise.

great deal on a sweet little hotel
Last minute booking to see the Matsuri (lantern festival) and it was a good location in centre of town about halfway between train station and Castle. It's a luxurious hotel (for size of town) where they hold weddings so I felt I got a great rate. Buffet breakfast at top of hotel was included which was very extensive and delicious with a view over the town.
Overall one of the best deals in Japan.

Hotel needs updating. Old furniture and very dirty carpeting but I must say the bathroom was larger than most.

Decent hotel
The hotel is located on the main road, which is about 15 minutes walk to the Hirosaki Park. Taking a taxi from the hotel is also very convenient. There are couple of restaurants inside the hotel, the breakfast room has a good view of the mountain. Room is small, which is normal all over Japan.
