The Peace Lodge is a unique experience unlike traditional hotel resorts. Sitting high on the mountain (volcano in the near distance) among the clouds with beautiful grounds, waterfall hikes and access to native animal and bird experiences. What a beautiful place to stay and enjoy all the best things Costa Rica has to offer. Our room was amazing with a hot tub on our back porch overlooking the rainforest and volcano. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the fireplace. I’ve never seen such a wonderful bathroom with waterfall off the wall, rain shower and hot tub. Having animals and amazing waterfalls on the property was icing on the cake. We we wowed our entire time at this resort.

The service was so personal it felt like we were part of their family. We were greeted by friendly staff who immediately took our bags while we checked in. We received private tours to the volcano and waterfalls which are amazing. We got to see and feed some amazing animals. The guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The views from the room are breathtaking. The lodge is pricey but worth every bit of it. The food the atmosphere all the activities that they offer make this lodge a one of a kind. We spent two weeks and traveled from the Caribbean to the pacific and this was our most favorite place. Would definitely come back
