Our stay at Serenade All Suites was a mixed experience. The resort itself was well-maintained and clean, and the rooms were kept immaculate thanks to the excellent housekeeping staff. However, the overall hospitality left much to be desired.
While some staff members were polite and friendly, we encountered several who were rude, rolling their eyes at us or ignoring simple requests, such as asking for water. The service at the buffet was particularly disappointing, as we often waited an extended amount of time just to get drinks. The staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to guests.
As for the food, it was decent overall, with the Hibachi standing out as the best meal we had during our stay. The coffee bar was a highlight, thanks to the sweet and attentive staff there, and our couples’ massage at the spa was absolutely worth it—an amazing experience. Special mention goes to Roberto at the pool bar, who was one of the few standout staff members. He was incredibly friendly and a fantastic bartender.
However, we were disappointed with the “Expand” staff, who lured us into a two-hour meeting under the guise of giving us a spa coupon, only to waste our time with what felt like a timeshare pitch. It wasn’t worth it, and I would advise others to steer clear of this.
