Nice place to stay
Very nice staff and tasty free breakfast with many choices.
The room was kind of dingy, but the bed was comfy. The bathroom could have been awkward if we weren’t a married couple. Not a lot of sound provacy, if you catch my drift. 😉 It’s in a good location and we enjoyed our stay.

Merry Christmas!
Historic building with a lovely hotel and nice restaurant. Good location and beautiful property. Not sure what my VIP amenity was with the hotel, but the evening service (turndown, maybe for the amenity?) included a delivery of a rose and a couple chocolates for my wife and I. Would higly recommend!

Favorite Lancaster Hotel
This is my favorite hotel in Lancaster mostly due to the attention to details. The first thing you’ll notice is the subtle fragrance which reminds me of a spa. After our 3rd visit I finally asked the name. (It’s Australian Coast) The elevator ride up to your room showcases sketches by some of the guests as they provide sketchpads and pencil in each room. Most of the rooms are in the original part of the old factory building and newer rooms are over the small parking garage. Free parking in the city! Both types of rooms are lovely but it is nice to enter your room and see a brick wall and wide plank wooden floors. There are fluffy robes, real glass lowball and wine glasses plus corkscrew. We always request a small fridge. Artwork on walls and turndown service with chocolate and a rose are special touches not to mention a magnifying mirror and decent lighting for applying makeup. Also provided was mouthwash and a separate cloth for makeup removal. Basic breakfast items are provided plus if you sleep in and miss that, there’s a great donut shop located just outside the parking garage. We haven’t eaten in the restaurant but the bar is a fantastic place to wind down after a fun day. If the weather is nice it’s a doable walk downtown to Central Market, unique shops and restaurants of numerous cuisines.

Good hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. Walkable to downtown. Quiet. Lots of parking. Overall good hotel.
Cons for me: (small issues)
The Tv in the room did not work correctly, kept freezing and shutting off. The bar didnt have any working drafts, only basic cans/bottles and extremely limited food.

I stayed at this property several times and really liked it. however, this stay was a little disappointing because they gave me A studio queen, which appears to be their smallest accommodation. it had a 7 foot ceiling and I irregularly shaped. barely room for the bed. there wasn’t enough room to put in a luggage stand. Clean, nice staff.
