Great hotel and staff and no issues throughout my 5 day stay. Frustrated though when they tried to sell me a room upgrade (…therefore they were available!) but wouldn’t upgrade me, despite being Gold with Hilton & Platinum with Hotels.com. Why offer something you can’t or won’t deliver. I typically have low expectations but this was disappointing.

Great Palm hotel / location
Hilton doing its thing well! From check-in to check-out I was impressed with the quality & level of service (& I checked in at 2.30am!) Staff were super friendly throughout, the hotel was always spotlessly clean & well looked after, as was my room. Great amenities in room too - kettle, coffee maker, hairdryer etc. Poolside was great, plenty of loungers/cabanas, at seat service as well as an app to order plus free filtered water & towels. There are plenty of restaurants but only one I think operated by Hilton - Mowsem. I only used this for breakfast, nothing missing that I could think of that you might want for breakfast and pretty efficiently run. Had a great stay - couple of small things noted below!) The hotel location is on the main trunk road onto the Palm and therefore when taking a taxi to or from the property requires a certain amount of twisting & turning by the driver - honestly the road system on The Palm makes spaghetti junction look simple - I mention so that you know the drivers are taking the mickey! Also the independent restaurants in the hotel do not offer the free filtered or local water the hotel does, a bit annoying as I feel a few years ago Dubai generally had got away from only offering paid for bottled water but that certainly wasn’t the case whereever I went. There was seemingly not issue if you had your own with you. Overall a great stay & would stay again!

We booked as part of our 30 Year Wedding Anniversary celebrations and stayed for 6 nights. Check it was quick and we were shown to a deluxe sea view room which was absolutely stunning and probably one of the most modern and clean hotel rooms we have ever stayed in !!! They had left us a complimentary an anniversary cake which tasted delicious. We were on a half board basis which meant you could use the array of their restaurants for either lunch or dinner and had a 150 AED credit per person. The half board basis included food only. Breakfast was buffet style with an amazing choice of the usual fried breakfast and eggs anyway you wanted and omelettes. Pastries galore, fruit, cereal hams and cheeses. Everything you could think of was offered at breakfast. We ate at Claw, Trader Vics, Jones the Grocer and the buffet restaurant, all of which had a wonderful choice and delicious food. We didnt use the sushi restaurant called Barfly but did have a few cocktails there and the view over the palm from there was stunning. The staff and service at this hotel are second to none and cleanliness is impeccable. We are already planning a return trip.

Great stay
Great stay. Only recommendation would be to enforce the no reserving of sun bed rules. We often couldn’t find a free sun bed by 9am as all were reserved with towels.

This hotel is overrated in many areas and overpriced for what it has to offer. The room is comfortable and large, has balcony and ours was overlooking the beach which I believe is extra cost. We've only used the beach once for a few hours as it was hot, and the sea watch was hot too. Swimming pool is small for the size of the property. The main restaurant, MOWSEM, for the buffet (we had half board) was small for the number rooms and guests staying and this was during August, which is considered low season. We often had to join a long queue for the restaurant while staff wait for guests in the restaurant to leave – this is unacceptable and waste of time at the start of the day. Once we’ve got into the restaurant, it was so packed people are often bumping into each other. Due to long queues, guests had to be diverted to another restaurant, Trader Vic, where the food options are even more limited as it wasn’t designed for buffet. Once we get a table at the restaurant, we’ve had to chase the staff for water. Being a family of 5, we’ve asked for a water bottle at the table to save us running around with cups but couldn’t get it. The staff at the restaurant’s number one objective is to clear empty plates. Nothing else seems to matter! The food quality and offering were appalling for a 5-star hotel. The hotel was in a good location The pool area is lovely, plenty of room and a good pool bar. Plenty of sun loungers and the cabanas are free if you can get them. Rooms always clean and spacious. The staff can’t do enough for you.
