Pool lazy river huge vegas feeling casino but chil
Great place, vegas gambling with resort feel close to san diego or LA. Lazy river and a pool many jacuzzis great southern cal weather. There's a starbucks and close to four other casinos within 15 minutes. Evev go to borrego springs desert less than an hour away or the beach quick 40 minutes. Best pool area of any local casino. Many close all pool areas seasonally. Harrahs keeps pool open all year.

The room was very nice, but upon closer look there was hair all over the rug, and mirrors were still dirty. We spent more time at Hell's kitchen, then in the room. But the bed was comfortable.

The service was good. The room was spacious and clean. However the furniture is old (in particular the dresser drawers. The shower had hardly little pressure and the temperature of the water required constant adjustment. Also it was hard to turn it off completely so it would stop leaking. Would be nice if the casino was non smoking.

Beautiful grounds!
We were staying overnight for a show that we booked. I was really looking forward to using the lazy river. Got there to find we had to buy the float on-site for $40 each. I needed 2. Was not willing to buy 2 just to use for a few hours! The Covid excuse needs to be retired!

A Disappointing, Literal Hŏt Mĕss
Positive: - Staff at Earl of Sandwich were smiley, helpful & quick - Smashburger was delicious! - Starbucks w/preorder option from app - Cool concerts - Great security - Very walkable & easy to get around Yikes: - 40 min to check in, long line & only 3 hosts. Then, one went on lunch break & the line grew even longer. - Room wasn't available until 4:16pm! After a long wait & late access to my room, it was dusty! (Weren't they supposed to have been just cleaning it? The entire "reason" my room was late?) - - Staff were unapologetic about the situations as they arose. One specifically referred to "the concert" that night as the excuse for the hotel-wide chaos. (This concert was scheduled last year, so plenty of time to plan accordingly.) Guests don't want excuses; they want good service & to receive what they've paid a pretty penny for! - Internet costs $12.99! (Who charges for WiFi anymore??) - Valets were inattentive, apathetic and one actually sighed loudly & looked at me judgmentally when I told him my door handle just started acting up. - No waters in room; not even ones to charge you for - No coffee makers - Outside windows were dirty enough to make pictures impossible - No movie channel or even decent ones - Bed wasn't the most comfy - No air cond in lobby. (Be prepared to sweat while you uncomfortably stand for almost an hour in line for a room that isn't even ready.) - BOTH self-check in machines were out of order. - VERY high prices for EVERYTHING.

Non smoking room smelled of smoke. Line to obtain pool wrist band was very long. Staff not friendly. Cantina restaurant staff did not acknowledge us for quite a long time. However Salt and Fin staff was and Hell’s Kitchen staff was amazing as well.

We had a 3 hour delay to check in. I noticed other reviewers had this same issue so scroll the reviews. When we finally spoke to management, TWO DAYS LATER, he was unapologetic saying they had over 800 arrivals that day; that’s not our problem. He did allow us to check out three hours later than the original checkout time so that was the compromise. It’s just a shame that not one employee even apologized for this inconvenience. We paid over $400 a night! The pool was also standing room only on the weekend so get there at the break of dawn for a patio chair. A long wait at Starbucks was another issue though the staff there was friendly. The best part of the “resort” was the Rincon Brew, which is technically detached from the hotel and the restaurants; we also really enjoyed the Salt and Fin as well as Hells Kitchen. Will we stay there again? Absolutely not but we may stop in for dinner.
