"Enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was really good. The room we had was near the stairs & very noisy as it kept slamming - this went into the early hours. "

"Accessibility was great. Central and having the car park was helpful. Although was painful to keep getting the parking ticket validated every time one went out, even though it was paid for the duration of the stay. The hotel looks tired and the rooms and carpeting etc need a massive re look. "

"This hotel feels like home. The staff are so friendly and happy to help. And their breakfast is very good. I stayed here to visit family in hospital so getting on the motorway was quick and easy this less to think about. Also sufficient parking to always find a spot. "

"Needed something to break up a long journey from the SW to the NE..... we booked online at about 715pm and checked in an hour later. Convenient for the journey being 10 mins from the motorway yet close to bars and eateries. We ate at a v good and well rated Indian restaurant 3 mins walk away called Shahi Palace. Packed on a Saturday night with a few free tables. Result. Hotel room exactly what we needed and clean/ functional and lovely staff. Decent included breakfast and free parking. Can't...

. The rooms are basic and a bit run down in places like the bathroom. But we had a comfortable stay and it was ideal for what we needed and we had a lovely time. The rooms are “motel style” with separate doors to the outside, so perfect for taking our pooch outside when needed and we experienced less noise that could disturb our 4 legged companion, than a classic hotel corridor with other guests coming and going. Check in was very...

"Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Very dated and way too warm.
Great selection for breakfast.
Could do with some repairs and good clean of communal carpets"

"The staff on reception at check in (Jagadeesh?) was fantastic! Super helpful and really supportive. However, my room wasn't properly cleaned at all during my multi-night stay. Coffee / milk etc. not replenished and the towels were not changed. The shower on the Friday morning only produced cold water and I wasn't told the boiler wasn't working (or that it had been fixed by the Saturday morning). Additionally, the breakfast claimed to have vegetarian options, which I asked for at check in, (e.g....

"I stayed for one night to judge at a nearby show. This is a period listed building with a lovely breakfast room, a friendly owner and a delightful Spaniel puppy. I had a standard single en suite room as I was on a tight budget. It was basic, but fine for me for one night. It had a good TV with plenty of choice of channels. There is a very welcome room fridge, so I was happy with that. There are nice places to eat within easy walking distance and it is close to the very picturesque canal basin. ...

all night, people walking back and forth in the corridors shouting with no consideration for those who were in bed. Breakfast very overpriced, however staff were friendly and helpful. Shame breakfast wasn’t in the price of the room, lovely for those who want to bring there

"Wonderfully historic building. The food was excellent both for breakfast and for dinner. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our first room where the key holder for the lighting was broken and we had to move to a smaller room with no views which was tiresome to do after a long journey and I think we could have been offered a glass of wine or something at dinner to make up for it but nothing was said. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was well...

"Great stopping off point on our journey. Lovely little property; little being the operative term. Not a problem though, as we only needed a bed for the night. Smart, bright, clean room with en suite. Decorated to a high standard and the beds were comfortable.
Right in the middle of the Warwick University campuses and close to a sizeable retail area with Tesco petrol station.
