"Absolutely fabulous! Superb location, wonderful harbour views, gorgeous roof top pool. Choose a junior suite with harbour view if you can, it’s well worth the extra money. We stayed in room 308, gorgeous, spacious room with terrace and a great view. Lots of places to eat within walking distance, secure onsite parking with a cost but again worth the money. Wouldn’t hesitate to return…."

"No air conditioning. Had to leave windows open which then allowed loud noises from street bars and restaurants every night until 2AM and early set up noises starting at 6AM. Not a very restful place. The room however was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff were very friendly. Good location just FIX the air conditioning !!! "

Pool was a lovely extra in a city hotel, giving a place to relax after a long day sight seeing. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful. Bar area was a little stale and empty, with the bar staff being also a little awkward and abrupt. "

"Great little hotel, very central with friendly and helpul staff. Nice breakfast and bar. Quiet and clean. If you have a car and are uncomfortable driving in very, VERY narrow streets, leave the car in the nearby parking garage Parc Mignet, only a few minutes walk from the hotel."

"Spent a couple of nights here after a Rhône cruise. We were unlucky with the weather which was over C 40 and had to spend 11am to 6pm in the air conditioning. However breakfast and dinner on the glorious shady terrace with view of the garden and Mt St Victoire was heaven. Staff charming, beautiful buffet breakfast (with freshly squeezed orange juice), eggs cooked order, fruit etc. Dinner is more of a fine dining experience but with relaxed friendly service and the best sea bass I’ve ever had....

Quiet location at night in the more industrial zone of Martigues and not near any of the refineries so no residual smells. Roof top restaurant and bar looks promising but regretfully it is closed at the weekend. Pool table and table football in the lobby free of charge. Would definitely stay here again if one needed to be in the area."

The negatives: They have no USB ports in the room to charge your phone, I called the front desk, they said they'd already given all of the chargers out to other guests so I'd have to "go buy one myself" which was disappointing. Had they mentioned no USB ports on their website, I would have brought my own...
