"A lovely small complex where the staff are very friendly and are very helpful. They provide advice and information to get the best out of your visit. The location was quiet though still close to Ponta Delgada. It is right on the sea front with great views out to see. The room was spacious and the breakfast delicious.

The free breakfast every morning was world class and high quality. Best money I ever spent on a vacation. Highly recommend renting a car to see the full island, going on tours just doesn’t cut it. It better to wander freely and discover the magic of the Azores by car."

"I think this hotel is one of the best on island. From first minute (arrive at 7:00 am) staff was very helpful and accommodating. Diego made coffee for us and gave printed guide for island. They make early check in and late check out for us without any problem. View of ocean is amazing. Easy access to ocean (I would not swim there, too dangerous). You have to have a car to go around. Beach is close. Everything is close if you have a car. Driving in small towns is a nightmare. Roads too narrow....
