2/10 Poor

Hidden fees, tatty decor, uncomfortable beds.
Hidden fees upon checkin. Rooms are dingy. Beds are old and soft. Like sleeping is a shallow soup bowl. Totally bagged out. Pealing ceiling paint. Black mold on carpet. Decor is ratty and outdated. On site restaurant has gross food. Everything is frozen, meat patty is exceptionally low quality. Vegetables are limp, sad, unappealing. Not at all good, not even close. This place needs some new energy. The front desk area is messy. Stuff everywhere, it’s dirty. A massive pile of water bottles live behind the front desk. (Get that stuff into a storage room and pull out as many as you need for that days check-ins.)

Could use a face lift
A good average stay. Some of the rooms have been updated but a lot of the Lodge is still dated. There should be better security for hockey kids running up and down the hallways as that is very disruptive and noisy.

During the week ❤️ but…..,,
Been here many times and loved each one……during the week. This time on Friday, Saturday and a completely different experience and not in a good way. Noisy, loud, kids tearing up and down the halls yelling, trying to break into the vending machines etc

Good value for the money. Needs updating.
The room was fine, a little dated but it was clean. The hot pools need to be upgraded and were not in good condition, especially the hotel guest pool. There was construction going on right beside this pool as well as they were replacing a large deck of the dinning room. Grounds were well kept. Good value for money however.

Stayed at this hotel many times over the years but this time was not a great experience, the rooms are looking old and tired with wallpaper seams coming apart, lots of construction around the grounds and the bar/kitchen staff were very eager to have us leave well before the closing time of 23:00 we were made to feel uncomfortable being there or just ignored. On checking out I mentioned to reception that the bathroom light and coffee machine were not working in our room, we received no apologies just “I’ll let maintenance know” $32 resort fee I think is well overpriced for a dip in the hot pool, I would hesitate to book or recommend this place after this visit

6/10 Good

We stayed for 2 nights and most of the time we were there, housekeeping had laundry bins, garbage bins, vacuums, piles of laundry outside multiple doors for most of the day. As it is a fairly remote but outdoorsy location, with most of the amenities at the resort, you tend to come and go from your room repeatedly through the day and evening and paying resort prices and extra resort fees should mean we are not being exposed to blockages throughout the hallways. It is not attractive at all. As it has fairly new owners, we hope that a resort we love is renovated and brought back to par soon. The staff is, as usual, very helpful and pleasant to deal with.
