condo in the sky
This is a private condo on the top floor of a hotel all you see is ocean. From the 11th floor down is a hotel. The upper floors are privately owned. When the hotel staff realized we were guests of the condo we became persona non grata. We could not even use a luggage trolley for our bags. Thank goodness a kind neighbor of the condo helped us figure out the door access. There is a not so comfortable down pillow top on the mattress of the master room it was scratchy and the feathers poked out and my daughter was covered in bites the next day, it could have been from outside but we think it was the bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, however there are no groceries around for miles and since there is only one road in and out it can take about an hour to get to a store. So bring groceries before you arrive. It’s important because the hotel food we ordered was horrible. We did order one beef and noodle dish that was the only edible item even the simple hamburger tasted terrible. The staff was helpful and friendly at the restaurant. Also, the gym facilities were great. There is an amazing full sized basketball court, we spent a lot of time there playing with our children.
