The santa tecla appartments are supposedly branded as "luxurious", but there was nothing luxurious about the unit we rented (suite Glamour). It was technically clean, meaning that the cleaning crew did setup the appartment nicely, but the appartment's condition as such is terrible.
All the walls were covered with marks and badly patched holes, it would seriously need a paint job all over. The shower's tiles were covered in mole, and every night around 9pm, the shower drain started to smell really bad (like sewers) and stinked up the whole apartment!
Also, the appartment was big, but the furniture was kind of cheap and small and a lot of basic utilities were missing (like a hair dryer or just basic kitchen dishes and utensils, it was impossible to cook anything).
However, the 2 good things about it was definitely the location (right next to Duomo and all the main attraction of the city) and the bed was comfy.
All in all, the appartment was "okay", but the fact that we paid more than 500$/night for this is outrageous. At that price you expect something clean, well maintained that includes all basic ameneties and even more.
