Lovely place to relax and enjoy time in Jiufen after walking around all day! The view is amazing. The room was very clean and bed comfortable. We love the free snacks and tea to enjoy while you soak in the view. Only took away one star because the wall are thin and we could hear the room next door pretty well.

Misleading Advertising and Very Unpeaceful
It is unfortunate because the people are very nice and the place is quite beautiful. However, this hotel is not good unless you are fortunate to be in a room that maybe is not plagued by the problems I experienced. #1 - it is soooooo loud. I was in a room directly below the restaurant. It was like constant walking on top of your head, people dragging furniture, people dropping things, etc. The hotel recognizes the problem and can only apologize. It is too small of a hotel to have alternative rooms. #2 - It says it is a bed and breakfast. There is no breakfast offered. This was confirmed by the hotel. #3 - It says that the hotel has a kids recreation area. This is not true. There is absolutely nothing here for kids. I am glad that my wife child didn't arrive. All in all, the people are lovely and try to do what they can, but they are powerless as this is a problem with how the hotel is advertised, how the rooms sit under a restaurant (also owned by the same people), etc. It was a very unpleasant stay and I left before even staying a night.

Perfect stay in Jiufen
We got great value for our money at Something Easy Inn. The room was modern, clean and has an incredible view down the mountain. I love the tiny balcony which gives access to the perfect view of Jiufen and the seas. The location was easy to locate as well using Google maps.

The host was really friendly and enthousiastic and helped us with finding a parking lot for the car, luggage and the check in. The hotel is really well located, it's at the end of the jiufen old street. The room is very spacious and the view of the room is amazing. Since Jiufen is always full of tourists, It's nice to enjoy the sunset and view from the hotelroom away from the crowd. The room was well equiped and the host made sure that everything was available for a nice stay, such as bug repellent and a free minibar for snacks, drinks and coffee. The bed and pillows are above average and in the bathroom there was a rain shower and Japanese toilet with bidet. Would definetely come here again and recommend this to my friends and family!
