We stayed for one night at Soho 54. Check in and check out was very easy, friendly and courteous. The room is very clean. The bed was wonderful! All too often when we travel the beds ate never comfortable. This one was very comfortable! My husband mentioned that this is going to be our go to hotel when we want to stay in the city. Thank you.

I stayed here on a business trip, and the location was very convenient for getting around Manhattan. The building and furniture are quite old, but the room was kept clean every day, so I had no particular complaints. My only disappointment was that the Wi-Fi connection was rather unstable.

I found it to be an incredibly pleasant stay. The location was amazing, the staff really went above and beyond expectations to help with issues, even those non-hotel related. Professional cleaning, daily restocking of amenities, and a very reasonable rate for its location. It may not be the fanciest hotel around, but, if you want a place that truly feels like Southern Manhattan then you really won't find better vibes in the area. It just had that authentic New York feel to it. It is located less than a two minute walk from a Subway entrance. Trust me, if its a first time in New York, easy subway access is a massive perk.

Out Hotel location is near a few subway lines, very convenience; staff and helpful and friendly. The only short coming is a noisy air-conditioner, it's a kind of older window unit; if visiting after summer would be okay. But we can walk to many nearby districts within 30 minutes.

The lobby is frightful and fairly unwelcoming. From the outside the hotel gives you an idea of what to expect inside. The rooms were decently sized for NYC and the hotel is in a very convenient location for soho excursions and to get up and down the west side. Bathrooms were moldy and the the faucets dripped all night. If sleep is a low priority and you just focus on location this is a good spot. Mostly European clientele. The cheapest option around, but definitely feel the value.

SoHo 54 is an overall great hotel in terms of affordability and location. The staff is always great and check in is a breeze. It’s my go to when visiting the area, I’ve stayed numerous times over the years and it’s always delivered.
