Central location easy reach of the Karoo National Park. Hotel grounds very pleasant. Friendly efficient service. Special mention to Lionel exceptional. Breakfast and dinner available if required. Well worth the extra cost.

Room very small - air conditioner leaking onto bed - dining room very grubby (floor) Staff very friendly and helpful This is meant as positive criticism, which will hopefully be acknowledged and rectified Not intended as negative - Matoppo is in an ideal and good position - just a bit of love and care

I especially chose this hotel because of the free WiFi but unfortunately, it did not work which caused me great inconvenience. The breakfast was also very disappointing for a 4-star establishment. No hot porridge or yogurt on the cold buffet. Only coffee, no tea. And the "waitress" was absolutely clueless and mixed up our breakfast order.

I had a late arrival and reception closes at 10pm but all was well organised and security checked me in. What I liked was that the property has large grounds and safe parking and it is a quiet area. Wifi only at reception, not reaching the rooms.
