A great place to stay.
We only needed a base to get a not Ghent. A lovely comfortable entrance area, lots of comfy a quiet spaces, a clean and good looking place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but that was expected. It was clean, smart and minimal. No wardrobe, but who cares for a few days. Station 5 minute walk away, 5 minute train into Ghent central station. We were really impressed by the place

Looks like a warehouse district being revitalized. Room cleaning came early the first few days then stopped, We have to ask for service after a long day out. Then the hotel started the noisy parties for the weekend and it was booming.

I thought that the parking charges were a rip off & made life hard for tourists visiting Ghent by car. It was 18 Euros to park in the hotel car park overnight & you could only park on the roads nearby for 4 hours at a time. I had to park my car 2 miles away overnight to get free parking. I wasted an hour walking there & back.
