Great economy stay. Clean, cheap, just a little dated.

KC to COS favorite.
This hotel is comfortable and very cozy. Loved the personal touch at breakfast … much better than the typical chain travelers hotel. The exterior is a bit run down but the room interior made up for it!

Go for the breakfast
The room itself was clean but the door lock didn’t work well, the walls are painted concrete blocks. The towel I used had holes in it, the sink had no stopper. This was not worth the price and I was wondering about the quality of the ratings on Hotels.com
The breakfast however was delicious, well prepared in a cute little dining room.

Nice hotel in Oakley
Room was nice, but had a couple of minor maintenance issues. Breakfast was home cooked.

Clean but not peaceful
The room was clean but we got little sleep. We arrived quite late and because breakfast was served beginning at 5:30 am we were awakened to neighbors, slamming doors (doors handles did not shut so one had to pull them hard to shut them), car keys opening car doors, large trucks (sometimes even peeling out) and much traffic on the highway at an early hour. The breakfast was very good and the people were friendly. Except for the noise, it is a clean place but I would not stay there again.

In for a funeral.
It's an older facility, but well taken care of.
Our room happen to be by the door to the office and breakfast room, so we heard a doorbell every time someone used the door.
Older furnishings in the rooms. Bathroom was clean, and appreciated the high toilet. Breakfast was not the best.

This is a very nice inexpensive motel. My wife is picky so we normally stay in Hilton or Marriott. She was pleasantly surprised. We will stay here again when passing through.

This is a "GOOD" 3 STAR hotel. Clean, comfortable but dated. Pictures make it look much better than real life. Not a bad thing - just reality. Best of what is in the area and we were in the area after a long day on the road. Not a lot in the area and hotel looked filled - with many job crews staying there. I thinks its busy often in non winter months.
Hotel check in clerk was stiff. Did his job but I wouldn't call him outgoing and friendly. The lady monitoring the breakfast area was totally opposite - was very friendly and efficient.
Would stay here again if in area. Price is a hair on high price point for 3 Star Hotel but not much in area.

Convenient, clean, and comfortable. The 3 Cs. This place has it all. Second time staying and will do it again next time we pass through Kansas. Quaint rooms, great hot homemade breakfast, and extremely nice staff. Try The Bluff when you visit - not much to look at but great food!

Old, but quite nice.
The place is showing its age. Everything was functional, but not up to many modern standards. Electrical outlets were limited, and no desk to work on, the bathroom didn't have a spot to put the clothes to change into. On the other hand, the breakfast was above average. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
