We choose this place because it was budget friendly for our family. We stayed in Goodick two bedroom cottage 2nights. Let’s start from the top, check in was easy but door was locked to office we had to knock. I was a little nervous when I first saw the property because it needs some tlc, grass was taller then I liked and deck on our unit needs to be painted but it was safe. We unlocked our door and thought oh… it’s clean and not bad at all. It definitely has a mish mash of furniture it felt like I was at a friend’s cottage. The bathroom was clean and newly renovated with heated floor. There was nothing wrong with the cottage inside except both beds were very firm. The kitchen was missing a few items, we had two dinner spoons so had to take turns at breakfast but not a big deal. They emptied our garage each day. The worse part was that the pool was still closed… and “opening soon” if I knew this ahead of time we would have gone somewhere else this is why we choose them over others. They were doing maintenance to it. I didn’t complain but I know someone that did and they got a discounted rate. There’s a subway restaurant inside a gas station right across the street which was nice. I would suggest owners to leave their office door unlocked and get a bell that rings when door opens. Maybe do an inventory check of kitchen utensils etc, add ceiling fans to the bedrooms, and paint the patios. My tip to travellers confirm pool is open before you go.
