WARNING ⚠️ Other reviews are FAKE!!
We read all the revews and thought we were getting a wonderful room for the night. The outside and the front office looked comfortable but the receptionist was snappy with us. After a 12hr drive we got in the room just wanting a shower and a soft bed but thats not what we got at all. The foundation across the bathroom was split starting in the shower and continued to the toilet across the room, I ran the shower for 15min and never got hot water, I had to wash up from the sink, the bathroom was freezing, the heat light was gone leaving a gaping hole, the draft from the crack in the floor made even using the toilet a miserable experience, the bathroom was so small the sink was almost in your lap when you were on the toilet, we found slugs in the shower, black mold between the tiles, the towels were old and yellow, the bed sheets had paint spots and holes in them and the refrigerator was turned off when we got there so I couldn't even empty my cooler. THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE!!! I give this palce a -10, it should be shut down. If we hadn't been so tired we would have left. Also I figured we would never get a refund because the girl at the desk had such a bad attitude and was quick to tell me at check in that everything was nonrefundable while I was signing the papers.

This property is in a very small town so it doesnt get alot of traffic. But the sink was coming off the wall. The sheet was so gross I had to sleep on top of the cover the first night bc the office closed at 11. Check out at noon but they sent a kid to my door at 830 to see when I was leaving.

This is an economic solution for the Maysville KY/Aberdeen OH area. It is in a slightly lower income area, but not unsafe since it is right on the highway. Breakfast is very limited (cold cereal, packaged pastry, coffee). Staff are very accommodating. Again this is a more economic facility if you are just needing a bed and shower.

I’m not real picky as long as it’s clean. But if I had a family with me I wouldn’t be as happy, my room needed updated, still has the old small toilet, the shower was missing tiles on the floor and needed caulking on the side. Forgot my shampoo, they gave me body wash, stated that’s all they had. No plug-ins available except in the bathroom!

Booked room related to convenience for event. Individuals at check in were pleasant and certainly took my concerns with respect. I ultimately after inspecting the first single room, requested a change d/t presence of bed bugs on bedding. They offered me a second room to see if it alleviated my concern. The 3rd room alleviated my concern. However I pulled the bed out and slept on the top of the bedding and was only there for some sleep. I just got up and got out in the morning. It wasn't horrible and have to admitt they did have 3 covers on mattress. I always put my bags, when staying anywhere in a black 3 ply bag to remove before I exit, hopeful that I didn't bring anything home.

Brown's Motel Aberdeen
No frills hotel with the bare essentials. A clean room, color TV (no remote), reasonably comfortable bed, and a hot shower. I was advised you could get a complimentary breakfast in the lobby, but I did not partake. The protective plexiglass enclosure at the front desk was a bit unnerving, and there were no additional safety locks on the doors except for the single deadbolt.
